Emo? Elmo?
This is my perception of something I strongly believe in and this subjects to my personal point of view. If there is anything I have not exploited in this, please do not say anything. Anyway, I realised this is my first post in about 9 months. But, something I think is worth posting about.
Firstly, youngsters nowadays are commonly deceived by the fact of this feeling of being "emo". But you may ask what exactly is that. Well, I can tell you, it is a common misconception. The word "emo" comes from "emotional", but are two totally different meanings altogether.
Emotional means being affected by your emotions, which are clearly defined as --> a mental state that arises spontaneously rather than through conscious effort and is often accompanied by physiological changes; a feeling: the emotions of joy, sorrow, reverence, hate, and love.
From my point of view, this "emo" situation that youngsters always blog about, talk about, and "feel about", is all about a physological state of mind. With the advancement in technology and the growing number of people globally using the internet, with figures rising to a staggering 1.4 billion people accessed to the broadband internet worldwide, it is uncommon to see teenagers not utilizing the internet. Now, the problem lies here. With the internet, various teenagers, with states of minds that are actively being nourished by their education, but the problem is that some of them have not reached that level of maturity yet. To perceive things in such a way that being "emo" is not about being emotional, but it is actually a stupid state of mind that is an "illusion" because of the increasing number of youngsters on the internet claiming that they have this "emo" state of mind.
As you can see, many youngsters are now calling themselves "emo-kid", I am emo ... and all kinds of nonsense like that. The thing is, they cannot tell the differences between feeling stressed up like adults do because they have not reached that level of maturity and that age, to what is somewhat of an internet phenomenon.
Let me tell you, that the thing about being "emo" is just a state of mind because they want their peer's attention, and its not because that they are stressed and such like that. The increasing number of people calling themselves "emo" are not subjected to teenagers, but the fact is various primary school kids are now telling people that they are having this state of mind. If you remind yourself of your primary school days, how stress-free you could be if you were an adult now. Come on, would a primary 5 student or a primary 6 student have 1/10 of the stress that adults face. Well, I am not an adult now, but adults face all kind of difficulties such as stress from work, monetary and budget allocation, and they still have to feed their familes and enjoy themselves. What a primary students just needs to do is to study, and what they do besides studying, play.
This illusion of being "emo" is a psychological state of mind that one just wants to grab another's attention. I meet people who claim that they are "emo", and they look perfectly normal, perfectly fine. The thing is, what they claim in their websites and blogs are of completly different. You've got things like: This world is rubbish, how I wish I could die, I give up hope on living....
And because of these, it influences the rest of the people. These people just want to look cool on the outside, trust me. That is because they just want your attention. And now, more problems surface such as bad temper flares, etc. etc.
Why get influenced by these people... You see, its all a lie. Being "emo" is nothing compared to what adults face. Come on, accept the fact that being "emo" is just being plain stupid.
God created man, and what he wanted man to do was to worship him. But the world nowadays are moving on to these misconceptions and illusions that they stray aside from God. Why in the world did God create life, why in the world did he die on the cross, its all for mankind. And you still state that life is not precious, life is stupid, I love being what I call "emo"... nonsense.
Recently, many teenagers, being influenced by the internet, the media, turn to suicide, turn to flaring anger on their parents, turn to cutting their flesh, all because of these influences, and their level of maturity have not risen to that point of being able to know what is right and what is wrong. Often you see teenagers claiming on their blogs that suicide is their only way..... lame.
What I can conclude about what I just mentioned is do not love the world, and the nonsense that these people sprout. Love life, love love, love others like yourself. Do not succumb to nonsense such as being "emo", no, you are not even feeling a pinch of what you define as stress in the working life. Reflect upon yourself, and you would notice that feeling "emo" is just being plain DUMB..!

Boring day, with nothing interesting to blog about 2dae.
Boring day with a boring start. Started off with bio. Bla bla bla, active transport, diffusion, osmosis? Its ranting for 1 hour. How many times did she used up all the space of the whiteboard and had to erase.
Oh ya, btw, the classroom was nicer than ever. Sorry, abit misunderstanding there at the previous post.
PC was about the career week. I was wondering where is the managing and directing while garrick was bemused by the fact that there was no choice for politics. There was quite a number of ppl who voted art and entertainment. Woah, I din noe art was so well liked. Well, its not that I hate the subject art, I hate visual art and I am fine with acting or digital art. Its just that ppl always say art as in visual art and as in drawing and colouring and painting. I think I am gonna vomit.
Maths was nothing. Going thru 1.2
And, there was the recess agn, taken by Peter Tan. Argh, muz lag for all recess until b4 valentine b4 he go for reservice. Argh. Humans makes mistakes right. My first time not handing in his work and he scolds me ( ok maybe us ) like some badboy gangster?!
There was the NPC crime prevention ( again...) for assembly. In the end, I still ove the video. Got Satay Party! Garrick muz be elated. The acting was good. And their "ke belakang pusing" in a squad was holy.
Conversational Malay, quite fun but boring at the same time. Lol.
There was 3 period english and I was about to die juz now. I think becoz of the lack of sleep, I kept yawning and tears were coming out from my eyes. Argh. 3 periods english, how torturous izit! And, the thought of 3 periods Chinese tomorrow makes me wanna faint. Bah, anyway doing acting 2moro. I dun have any script yet. Nobody bothered?
There was MSP and after MSP I got busted by Bob for Factory Sealed. BAH! First time I got busted!
Went home and watched the Amazing Race 12 recorded from ytd night. Woah, TK and Rachel won. Ronald and Christina owned until the last road block about memory and Christina got owned by Rachel. LOL, in the end TK and Rachel won. LOL. I love how they climbed the ice. Salmon hooker wahahahaha.
Helped do chores after tat.
At nite went to do the Chinese Workbook and the descriptive writing. I actually wrote about Singapore in the 2040s and about Mobile Suits. Wahahahahahaha.
I am like so tired now, I am dead beat.
Bye, I go read Artemis Fowl. Its the 3rd book my sis borrowed from SAPS MRL. Lol, I was gonna buy it. Never mind then, I'll buy the 4th book and the 5th.

Sad, sec 1 never come in today. They will be coming in next week for BB. Argh, I tot that they will come this week. Garrick say he can bully them. Nope, I dun think we can pump them yet.
Morning, PE, there was height and weight. Garrick was like trying to compare with me hu taller. I got 162 for height and 47 for weight. YAY! Increased in height but decreased in weight by 1 kg. YAY!
And, I am still taller than Garrick by 2 cm. He was cursing me like...
Mr Liu showed his true colours by scolding us liek he was a DM agn when a lot of ppl nvr hand in the Chemistry work. Anyway, his lesson later was quite interesting. I like the way he uses imagination, make the whole class involved and do some funny antics. Although he is quite strict lah.
Maths lesson, direct propotion. Quite hard at 1st but I slowly understood it. It was actually quite simple. The exercises were easy. I am so not looking forward to the next chapter, inverse propotion. Dun dun. Tan Hy dun teach it 2moro. Faint...
CEP was taken up by Maths agn. Agrh, in the end only got 15 min for CEP.
History was lol. Teacher said Faquhar and the whole class laughed like crazy. She oso said basket and told us that it was not vulgar.
Oh ya, recess was taken up by Peter Tan coz he wanted us to stay back, argh, for 20 min agn. In the end, muz chiong the food until like... I chomped the whole garlic bread on my way up to the classroom.
BB was okay. The CPR theory! %*^*$#(^)! Nobody told us that there was a CPR theory test. In the end, all the qns I dunno how to do and I think I flung. However, Garrick and I were the first to go to BB room to have our CPR practical. We passed YAY. Although I was a bit nervous. Officer Darryl was testing us. Muhahahaha, he was like strict.
Later, in the waiting room, performed factory sealed using a opened bottle coz I didn't wanna waste money to Ding Xuan. And, OMG it succeeded! YaY! I luv Factory Sealed. He was like checking the bottle like there was some hole although it was full with water. WHEEEE!
PT, need to run 2 rounds around the sch! Argh, of coz, I am last agn. Obvious.
At nite helped my sister do the ang pao fish she needed to hand in 2moro. I was testing my rusty brain cells on the nag pao fish thing I learned in SCC 4 yrs ago. It worked. I could do the fish and its now a matter of fact that whether the Class Commitee wants to put the fish on the back notice board. Heard that somebody screwed up the back notice board and disfigured the mickey. Sigh.
Hope nobody reads this coz I may get beaten up 2moro. I hope thats not the case.

For once I find that summary is the worst homework you would every had.
There's this sec 4 midyear paper that was given by Peter Tan when he was not in class last Thurs. It is so hard, argh!!!
And, wats more, for not doing the summary I got scolded by him 2dae. Wat the... I dun really understand the passage till I read it 10 times at home before I did the summary at home at night.
Today, really nothing much, much less than yesterday.
As usual, its chinese lessons and cyf goes like some machine gun again. We've got visitors from China and I took a glance at them in the Chinese lesson. They were laughing. LOL. I think its because our chinese standard is too low its looks so easy to them. Haha. Maybe their primary 5 standard? I dunno.? But lol, juz compare our English standard. I bet that when we go to China to attend their lessons someday we will find that their English is easy as abc.
And then, its Tuesday blues. I mean there is no Tuesday blues but it'll continue from Monday coz there is art and music. Argh. Forget it. I hate art. Its the worst subject. I will nvr take higher art, confirm, if not I pay you $$999999999 if I take higher art next year.
History, nothing much. Juz going thru the ans for the workbook.
And there came Peter Tan. Because never do summary, argh, got scolded. Bah, my excuse is "no excuse" and thats quite a stupid excuse. I think its worst than the excuse I only do draft nvr do summary. But, honesty is the best policy and I have nothing to hide rite. Anyway, humans make mistakes sometimes.
CNY deco is going great. For the first time I am doing something. We decorated the notice board behind with A3 sized light orange and yellow paper which costs 50 cents each. Wah, so ex.
We hanged something dangling things around the whole class and outside of the class. Juz hope that no Nanhuarian would go and tear those things down. We used $$ to buy de.
Yup, they ran out of light orange paper and so Garrick, Jack and I went to the big bookshop and bought those. Bought a black cardboard too.
Woah, Daph and Jy, the mickey is so nice! Wheee.
Argh, for the first time in 2008 I did my homework ( summary of coz + draft ) until 10.40pm. I hate it.

OMG! OMG! After 3 days of practice I finally convinced my mother and sister that a coin passed through a bottle of mineral water full of mineral water which was factory sealed and haven't been opened before. For the first time I had succeeded in a magic trick that tricked both my mum and my sis. Everytime I do a trick it will always be thwarted. YAY! Finally I succeeded. Cheers for me! Even my mum did not suspect anything. BTW, for those who noe the trick dun reveal hor! And anyway thanks to Shang Kwok and Ellusionist for the best coin in bottle trick called Factory Sealed Coin in Bottle.
Finally I decided to post because I had juz changed my blogskin and ya...
Guitar guitar, yep, I finally can play the Simple Plan - Perfect on guitar although I am very slow. YAY!
Today nothing much except that the Peter Tan decided to be a saddist and stayed us back for 20 mins. In the end, we only had 5min to eat. Argh! I eat until I almost choke, all thanks to Garrick ( lol ) and my inability to eat fast.
Miss Verlyn decided that today was the day she finally raised to the top of her voice and scolded someone. But her top of her voice is quite high in tone though. Makes it sound like opera. Wahaha.
CNY deco after class as usual. Lagged in class to discuss till 3.30pm but could not go becoz I had MSP class at 4.15pm. Sad eh?
Yup, its another quite boring day with exceptions of succeeding in performing Factory Sealed Coin in Bottle to my mum and sis. That's way into night, juz before I posted this post.
And anyway I hope the misunderstanding in class can be cleared asap, though it looks like it has been cleared. Garrick, stop flaming lor!
